Assignable Hotkeys #1
Description
It would be great to allow users to assign custom hotkeys for restarting Explorer and other commands. This enhancement would provide more flexibility and improve usability.
Proposed Solution:
- Implement a settings/configuration file & UI for assigning custom hotkeys.
- Support saving the hotkeys across sessions.
- Validate the hotkey input to avoid conflicts with system-wide shortcuts.
Benefits:
- Improves user experience with customizable controls.
- Accommodates users with different keyboard habits and accessibility needs.
Possible Challenges:
- There is currently no UI for this program (besides the tray icon) and manually editing a configuration file is not ideal.
- Detecting and handling global hotkey conflicts.
