I really like the Termdriver2 as little standalone helpers.
But while using them i found a few things which would make them just better in some usecases.
I will list them here to start a discussion if and how it can be implemented or if there maybe are other better ways.
- Only display HEX values instead of ASCII characters would be helpful for debugging many binary protocols. Maybe in format "xFF".
- Select if in ASCII mode a single CR or LF will be interpreted as CRLF. Makes displaying data with single CR or LF much better on LCD.
- Configurable speed (BPS) for standalone mode.
- Show configured speed on LCD in standalone mode like in USB mode.
I would be pleased if at least some of these features could be integrated into the firmware. :)
