Submit a specific version

Currently, the submission only specifies name and gitUrl. Wouldn't it be desired to directly point to a given tag/commit/branch?

At the moment the gitUrl is used to fork the repo and I can not point to a tag or commit to fork the repo.

I'd say yes, for the sake of a fluid development cycle. Any opinion?

A fork is a copy of the repo. We can not fork from a commit or a tag so the process will not work. A module developer can maintain a production main branch so whatever we fork/sync is stable. Any subsequent updates from the developer's repo can be incorporated to jasp-stats-modules fork through a PR.
