[Crash]: JASP crashes as I change the value of a data entry

System Info

JASP version: 0.96, on Linux Mint 22.3 cinnamon 64-bit, linux core 6.8.0-106-generic.

While running other applications (Thunderbird, Firefox and playing music with audio-scrobbler plugin active).

I am cleaning up a data file. Trying to change the values of input from one number to another, the application crashes without notice (it just exits).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a data file from Qualtricks.
2. Editing the data. Change data values from text to numbers (scale)
3. Changing the number values to different numbers with the possibility of doubles (2 x value=1, for example)
4. CRASH (many times over), no recovery file

It's impossible to work with this. I empty all the values of a specific row and it's just crashing as soon as I enter the first new value

It's a shame I cannot add the jasp-file I am working on. It's driving me insane and I really hope it's the file and not the software.

I cannot reproduce it on Linux flatpak, could you make a screen record and upload your file?

Seems the data quite weird after loaded into JASP, the value was empty. Could you share your data file (zip and upload here)?

Is was hoping that removing the config or whatchamacallit cache file of JASP was enough to do the trick but alas it not be true!

Because it looks to me like everything has numbers?
