Hi Joel,
Thank you very much for your great work and for improving the CPS even more.
A.
Background:
Yesterday I moved from using Radtel's Official CPS 1.24_250530 & DT B40 that worked fine, to your newest CPS 0.5.3 & DT B41.
I had an issue with my device that it did not RX or TX, but DT kindly prepared a special B42 Build for me and solved that issue.
For more details, see bug DualTachyon/rt-4d-fw-beta#119
B.
Not related to the above mentioned fixed bug:
When I Open a code-plug that I have prepared with Radtel's Official CPS 1.24_250530 in your CPS 0.5.3:
All the AM frequencies become FM; Existing RX CTCSS/DCS and TX CTCSS/DCS values become "None" - and, instead, CT/DCS Select becomes "Encrypted Sub-tone 1".
When I Write that code-plug from your CPS to the device, the device shows the AM freqs as FM, and strange DCS and CTCSSS values (D000N, MUT(?), D000I, 256.0 etc.) appear in certain freqs even though they were not there before or even appear in the code-plug in your CPS.
When I Read the device after Writing to it, in addition to the above mentioned Channels issues, also RX channels frequencies became messy (for example, 456.10000 becomes 456.09972 or 144.6125 becomes 144.6121), though TX channels are not affected. Note that this specific issue was, thankfully, not reproduced after DT's fix of the above mentioned bug.
(I have no idea why all this happens but I did use in the past Radtel's Data Recovery/Calibration tool, and maybe it caused some issues to the freqs when they are Read back from the device? I am clueless.)
Perhaps there are other visual issues that I missed.
C.
Regardless, I think, when I Export the Channels .csv from Radtel's Official CPS 1.24_250530, and Import them to my code-plug in your CPS (to replace the mangled Channels), the Zones disappear in your CPS.
D.
Attached please find:
My Original Radtel's Official CPS 1.24_250530 code-plug;
That same code-plug Saved from your 0.5.3 CPS output;
That same code-plug after (writing and) Reading it from the device from your 0.5.3 CPS. (I did not encounter the strange messy frequencies. Perhaps somehow DT fix, fixed also that issue).
Thank you very in advance for looking into it.
