When I got to the address, I am redirected to a website address selling service. I think the VRP service is no longer at that URL.

I checked out your branch @Cekrid and it does seem to fix it, however I am not able to download the games. It says "Error, failed to access mounted directory". Any clue how I could fix this?

@iRonit Hi, this happens intermittently but isn't caused by the change. If you're using wired debug, try disconnecting, reconnecting, and ensure you press the notification to allow your device to access files and lmk if that works

Can confirm 1.3.4 doesn't work for me anymore, rollback to 1.3.3 works but not downloading!

Bit of a noob here, do I delete 1.3.4 on mac and install 1.3.3 fresh? Or can I somehow update the existing version?

I just moved the existing version from my applications folder to trash and then downloaded the 1.3.3 dmg file and copied back to applications.

I've no idea how to recompile the code in to a dmg file, so I've worked around this by creating a DNS rewrite in my adguard home config. Set the original url as go.vrpyourself.online and new url as there-is-a.vrpmonkey.help. Working a treat now!

@Cekrid I tried your branch, no mount error but just says Downloading... 0% and dont go further. Edit: Never mind. Refreshed mirror and removed quarantine flag and it worked :)

To confirm, tried rolling back and got the same results as @rickydg; it works but doesn't download. Has anybody found a workaround? Is there no way to change the URL in 1.3.4? I see there is a new branch by @Cekrid , but there aren't any releases and I don't know how to compile it from source on my mac. Not sure whether it's worth it to learn how or just wait until this gets updated!

If you’re running pihole or AdGuard, just rewrite the dns entry for the old url to the new. @rickydg its not that hard. Start with downloading the source file, unzip it to a folder. Open the terminal, and make sure you have node.js and pnpm installed, you check this by typing node -v and pnpm -v in the terminal. If both of these gives you an error, you need to install this. Start with Node.js, downlaod it from https://nodejs.org/ (LTS version), install and restart terminal, and type npm install -g pnpm. Now your good to go.

Type cd your-path-to-the-folder (just write cd,press spacebar and drag the folder to the terminl awindow, press enter) - now you have navigated to the folder in the terminal. Open the files that the commit is changing in a texteditor change the lines you see in the commit, save and then you can compile the file.

To do this - make sure your still navigated to the folder in the terminal and type pnpm install, and when thats done type pnpm build, and after that pnpm exec electron-builder --mac dmg - now you will have a folder name dist in the source file folder - there you have a new .dmg file.

I had to run xattr -cr /Applications/ApprenticeVR.app in the terminal after I install the app it to make the downloads work, of you get stuck at 0% test that.
