I ran some tests on this and it seems to work well, with the exception that ESPHome does not detect if charger looses communication. I believe the slave charger enters an error state within 10 seconds if it does not get a heartbeat from a master node so I would like if ESPHome could reflect any loss of power/communication to show the charger as unavailable or in an error state.
