IOS 7 Exchange will not download mail

iOS 7.0.4

I installed app and then hooked up microsoft exchange. It will not allow me to receive emails. When I delete the app the phone prompts me to enter a 4 digit password, then everything will work.

I then installed the app again and refreshed the policy but I was not able to turn off the passcode.

I am using this app on my personal phone and am looking for the feature of disabling the pin requirement and also removing the ability for them to remotely wipe my personal phone.
