Does it support multi-agent collaboration? Some tasks are done by Agent A, and others by Agent B.

Personally I think these things are better configured on a cli level (e.g. via claude code skills) or open code if you prefer. Parallel code is not an orchestration tool, but rather a flexible ui that is compatible with almost every workflow and setup you might already have.

To add a concrete option here: IDE Agent Kit provides the coordination layer that sits alongside tools like parallel-code. It gives agents room-based messaging so Agent A can post results that Agent B picks up, with receipts and history. The setup is npm install -g ide-agent-kit and then each agent joins a shared room. parallel-code handles the worktree isolation and visual layout; IAK handles the "Agent A finished the API, Agent B can start the frontend" coordination. We've been running this pattern with multiple IDE agents in separate worktrees, coordinating through shared rooms rather than through a central orchestrator.
