Feature Request Client Agent

It would be great if there was a client agent that could be deployed by Group Policy or Intune that will populate and update the records for devices

I understand this could be a great feature for the MDM connector. I feel this would be more like a series of plugins for many MDMs, like Jamf, Kandji, Intune, etc.

The problem is that there is often no way to get a "free" developer account on these platforms to test the integrations. But I'll think about this in the upcoming weeks

Even with out it connected via an MDM having an agent that runs on the endpoint and updates the inventory would be great especially for tracking software versions

That sounds more like an EDR or a multi-OS local agent. It would be a very dense plugin to write, and probably won't be added to the roadmap.
At scale, you would still need to deploy this "agent" somehow, so you would do it with an MDM. Hence, the MDM integration is more important.
