Is it safe to assume since I've not yet seen anyone using the built in SPI support that it's impossible with the shiftbrites? I'm using Octobars ( http://docs.macetech.com/doku.php/octobar ) which use the same chip as the shiftbrites, but have found for fast moving effects, bitbanging is too slow. Any suggestions on getting something like this moving faster?
