Avocado was tested with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro borrowed from http://www.mobicity.com.au/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-minipro.html . This is an older, low power, low cost handset supplied with Android 1.6. There is an upgrade to Android 2.1 which is the version tested and testing was rushed as I didn't have the phone long.
Avocoado results:-
Worked with screen off.
Failed to transmit activities to website over phone network with error message on 2 consecutive occasions, gave up trying after that. Worked OK on wifi. Looked like a http timeout problem.
Font on graph text was very large. Most of the text was not visible.
Battery life very short, about 6 hours but it charged fast too. I think it was a old battery rather than an application issue.
Ant Plus testing:-
Ant plus helper application installed OK.
Ant plus functionality in My Tracks was enabled.
Another Ant plus application worked OK.
Searched for Ant plus sensors but didn't have one to actually see data being acquired.
