Apply an order to a folder

I would suggest a feature: the possibility to apply an order to a folder using, for instance context menu.

As an example, I could apply an alphabetical order, or something alse predefined as data, to a whole folder and after that start recording manually.

I know that there is the reset order option but it should apply to the whole vault while I would just force a reordering of the content of a folder without disabling your plugin.

Basically, sometimes I noticed that I do a mess with my file and I would like to start from scratch to have a clearer idea of what there is into the folder.

This functionality is actually already in my plans. I’m thinking of implementing something like this:

Users would be able to choose between A-Z, Z-A, or Custom order, toggle drag-and-drop, and if a sort order other than Custom is selected, there would be an option to save the custom order to match the current one.

However, it’s still at the design stage for now, and I'm a bit busy this week. Thanks for your understanding!

Following up on the previous comment, is this still something that's planned? An incredibly helpful plugin but there are some folders I definitely need sorted A to Z.

Hi @SerMordryd. I’m afraid I can’t promise anything at the moment. I’m only planning to do some refactoring on this project in the near future.
