www/obhttpd set to be removed from ports at the end of the month

I am seeing this deprecation notice in the current ports copy of www/obhttpd:

Are there plans to update this to something more recent, including the libevent, libimsg, and libressl dependencies?

I did open a ticket to upgrade the port to the latest version but it was rejected by the FreeBSD team.

Oh, well, that's unfortunate. The patch you posted to that PR, I see it really only updates the libressl version. Are any of the newer tags for libevent or libimsg in your other repos usable, or do they all have issues that would make the updated version unstable?

There is tag 7.8.20260227, includes fixes like openbsd/src@ee12d97 for instance.
No libevent and libimsg upgrades. There were major changes in libimsg in OpenBSD and they cause memory issues on FreeBSD. I have no solution how to make it work properly yet thus I continue using old version.

Yes, I'll continue maintain the project, I'm using it myself and it serves me well.
