What happened?

When connecting a secondary monitor in "extend desktop" mode, quicklinks moves to the secondary monitor ignoring the settings to lock in place, no options in the desklet to identify which monitor to display on or to display on both.
The real buggy part is, if the quicklinks bar is re-positioned while connected to the secondary monitor then disconnecting it, the bar disappears completely from the entire desktop and the only way to see it again is connecting to a secondary monitor.

Hello, thanks for reporting. First of all I can't reproduce this on LM 22.2, Cinnamon 6.4.8. I did experience some desklet movement when I connected an entirely new monitor, but not when turning monitors on/off. My guess is that this issue might have something to do with cinnamon on your distro. I think there's nothing I can do to fix this.

Did you check whether this happens with other desklets also? Unfortunately, I think this issue is unlikely to be caused specifically by quicklinks@NotSirius-A, because desklets don't implement the actual rendering to the screen. Desklets are executed by the desklet manager which is a part of Cinnamon (maybe worth reporting to Cinnamon repo?).
