Timeshift create snapshots at off clock/

Hi,

On my system, ubuntu 24.04LTS, Timeshift is settings to create two snapshots by week.

When a snapshot is scheduled, Timeshift also schedules its creation for the last hour. However, if the system is taken off during this interval, the Timeshift label is a snapshot created with the scheduled time as the time, even though that the system was off at it hour.

It's wrong !

Timeshift should create a scheduled snapshot when the system is idle and force its creation if an out-of-system command is executed at effective hour and not at out last hour. (off clock)

Example:
Yesterday, at morning, i constated a new snapshot with 22h00 tag, but at it time my computer was off.

• A snapshot was scheduled because i haved created a snapshot manually after an update system, and deleted other old.

Timeshift creates a new weekly snapshot when there are less than specified (in your case 2?) snapshots left in the same time frame (2 weeks).
The specific time is not specified by timeshift. This ties back to: #499

What do you mean with "out-of-system command", "effective hour" and "out last hour (off clock)"?
Im not sure i understand your problem completely.

Is this maybe due to an timezone problem? Or is the clock of the computer unstable and jumps a lot?

I mean that my computer was power off at indicated time on snapshot label.
So, i want to change executing hour about.
