[Bug] Search highlight still active after changing tab and closing search bar.

Bug description

The search highlight doesn't deactivate after changing tab and closing the search bar.

My configuration

xed 3.8.4
Linux 6.19
Fedora 43
Cinnamon 6.4.12

Steps to reproduce

1. Make sure you have at least two tabs open, both containing text.
2. Type Ctrl+f to open the search bar.
3. Type some text to search. Make sure the search pattern is present in the opened tab.
4. The corresponding search results get highlighted.
5. Select the other tab.
6. Click "Next" on the search bar to search the pattern in the other tab.
7. Close the search bar.
8. Go back to the first tab.
9. The search bar disappeared because the user closed it, but the search results are still highlighted.
10. To deactivate the highlight, you have to type Ctrl+f to open the search bar then explicitly close it on the tab.
