Flux Regional Sampling stops before complete

I'm looking to use the flux regional sampling workflow downloaded from the examples as is. It runs and then stops before completing. The green bar at the top of comfyUI completes in half a second so its almost like comfyui believes that the regional sampler has completed . I get the following result.

I made no changes to the workflow.

These are my settings. . . i just noticed that I disabled transformers for some other workflows. I will try the default settings, that might be the problem.

I tested it with xformers enabled. Same issue so that was not the culprit. I also saw no errors in the terminal.
