Update the dependencies for PHPUnit

IMO need to update the dependencies for PHPUnit because 5.2.3 really old)

@wppunk the PHPUnit version currently specified in the composer.json > require file section is a lower bound, not an upper limit; is this creating an issue for you? Could you provide an example in the code?

I might update the versions in version 2.0, but not for the sake of doing it.

Oh, sorry. Just I used the 1.3.0 version. I've updated it to 1.3.8 and this fixed it.

Can this issue be reopened?
The PHPUnit version specified for version 2.0.0 is hardcoded to a specific range: "phpunit/phpunit": "7.5 - 9.6".
This makes it harder to upgrade to the current version since the previous version allowed PHPUnit v10 to be installed, and it's working with it.
