not working on iphone 8

i just get a white screen when opening it with the mendix app. In the browser it works.

Do you mean when you convert the Mendix App to a Mobile Mendix App?

no when i open it with the tester app of mendix...

I don't own an iphone 8 device myself. The only things I do know is that it only works on a https connection and it works best on chrome browser.
I recommend the phonegap plugin when you build it into a Mendix Mobile App and use this Widget for your browser based cameras.
