Can we do the vice versa?

Hey! Superb work you did. I want to know If we can convert an equirectangular image into a 6-face cubemap image. I need to create a Unreal Engine plugin. Please help me.

In theory it should work, just build a reversed map by looping through all the values. You may want to try over sampling to make the final image shaper.
