[BUG] App crashes with "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'position')"

Bug description
The application crashes during the onboarding/tutorial flow and shows the following error:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'position')

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the application/page
2. Start the onboarding/tutorial flow
3. Complete the first two tutorial popups
4. Click “OK” on the third tutorial popup
5. Observe the error screen

Expected behavior
The tutorial should continue normally or close successfully without crashing.

Actual behavior
The application crashes and displays:

Something went wrong
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'position')

Architecture notes

Reframe is a static Next.js app with output: "export". Key points:

• All video processing uses FFmpeg.wasm (client-side, no server)
• headers() in next.config.ts won't work — use vercel.json instead
• not-found.tsx requires public/404.html + vercel.json routes config

I went through the issue details and reviewed the contribution guidelines before picking this up. I was able to understand the crash flow happening during onboarding after the third tutorial popup, where the app attempts to access a position property from an undefined object.

I’d like to work on this issue under GSSoC’26.

My plan is to:

• reproduce the onboarding crash locally,
• trace the tutorial state/transitions around the third popup,
• identify which step/config object is becoming undefined,
• add a proper defensive check or state synchronization fix,
• and verify the onboarding flow works consistently without regressions.

I’ll also run the required lint/type checks and attach a proper screen recording with the PR as mentioned in the contribution guide.

Could you please assign this issue to me and add the gssoc'26 + appropriate difficulty level label if applicable?
