The /contracts endpoint would greatly benefit from additional filtering options to make it more robust and aligned with user needs. Currently, the ability to query and refine contract data is limited, which can make it difficult for users to retrieve specific information efficiently.
Describe the solution you'd like
We propose adding the following filters to the /contracts endpoint:
/contracts Search By
- Number of Bidders
- Last Modified Date
- Extent Competed
- Pricing
- Amount Obligated
- Place of Performance
- IDV Type
- Prime Awardee Business Type (8a, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc)
- Start Date
- Current End Date
- Potential End Date
- Potential Total Value
These features will allow users to refine their searches and extract highly specific data from the endpoint.

Adding these filters will make the /contracts endpoint more versatile and better suited to complex use cases.
