we have an issue where our courses have like 100 sections and some has images. loading all secretions at once cause a huge delay.

hope there is aquick fix to add option to show current section only and not load every thing

Hello. In order to "fix" something there has to be a bug.

Your issue is not clear. You are commenting on the flexible sections format. In this format you already can choose whether to display each section on the main page or as a separate page.

Can you please write a detailed description of the behaviour you would like to see in your language with proper punctuation? Then we can put it through google translate. Thanks in advance

I am experiencing an issue regarding how format_flexsections handles course layout and the Course Index in Moodle 5.0.

1. Missing "One section per page" Layout: In other formats (like "Custom Section"), there is a Course Layout option to "Show one section per page." This is vital for course navigation. However, this option is missing in the FlexSections settings (see screenshot 1).

2. Course Index Overloading: Even with the Accordion function enabled, the Course Index (the left-hand sidebar) is loading the entire content of all sections and sub-sections at once. On larger courses, this causes significant page load delays and visual clutter.

Goal: I’m looking for a way to restrict the page to one section at a time and prevent the Course Index from "eager loading" every module in the course hierarchy simultaneously.
