I'm running Debian Stable (7) and when I run the script I get

are you also getting this or am I just lucky :)
I sadly don't know enough about python yet to read and understand the code

I haven't used this code myself in quite some time so I don't know what may be up but as a starting point I would run the HandBrakeCLI command it spits out by hand and then run "mkvinfo /home/xpd259/Videos/.Down.mkv" and see if some error is printed or if it outputs normally post that here. It may be the output formatting changed slightly, breaking the parsing. (for whatever reason parsing the output of mkvinfo was easier than working with mkv metadata xml directly when I hacked this together, perhaps revisiting that would be wise)
