Complex Indexers/Metadata Provider Integration

Hey, I just wanted to see if there was any docs I missed anywhere on/any interest in upstreaming:

1. Adding support for GraphQL based metadata provider to metadata_relay (i.e. go from GraphQL -> REST-compatible with MM, then caching the REST-style response)
2. Adding support for a custom indexer

More specifically, I wanted to try adding support for Anime titles through AniList (GraphQL-based), but then using SeaDex to automatically retrieve the most optimal release. This would mean using AniList as a metadata provider as well as SeaDex, but then having integration between the two.

This isn't really a bugfix/feature request as much as it is just me trying to assess how difficult this would be to add, so hence this discussion.
