Target NetStandard?

Any chance to have the nuget library targeting netstandard 2.0 instead of netcoreapp2.1?

I think it is possible at this point.
However, to run cross platform the app will be .NET Core (as oppose to .NET Framework), and there is no build of the native dependencies in the nuget package for iOS/Android to be able to use the library in Xamarin.

Was there a particular situation where this would benefit you?

Thank you. Basically I would like to add the nuget package from a .Net Full Framework project (a web application). That's my scenario.

This would allow usage of the library in all projects targeting .net framework 4.6.1+😄 (currently only projects targeting .net core 2.1+)
