How can I hide/show a Widget based on the Project?

I created a widget which I do not want on all projects. I currently use a settings page to write settings and read them in the widget. With this I can show "disabled for this project". But I don't even want that. I just don't want the widget at all (and also not the "group"/title/header. 
Is there an option to do this?
