- VS Code Version:
- OS Version:
- Feature (e.g. agent/edit/ask mode):
- Selected model (e.g. GPT 4.1, Claude 3.7 Sonnet):
- Logs:
Steps to Reproduce:
1.My GitHub account billing shows Copilot Pro, but VS Code Copilot Chat cannot fetch models.
What I already did:
- revoked Visual Studio Code under Authorized OAuth Apps
- revoked Copilot Chat App under Authorized GitHub Apps
- restarted VS Code
- reauthorized GitHub in VS Code
- opened a new chat and tested with a minimal prompt
Current result:
- VS Code chat says:
Language model unavailable
Relevant log lines:
Logged in as justincartwright11-alt
Got Copilot token for justincartwright11-alt
copilot token sku: trial_30_monthly_subscriber_quota
Failed to fetch models
Copilot Pro trials have been temporarily paused. Please upgrade your account or revert to Copilot Free.
I need you to check the Copilot entitlement/token being issued to VS Code for this account, because billing shows Copilot Pro but the IDE is receiving a paused-trial-style token and cannot fetch chat models.
