New official release, or any unofficial builds – maybe with official approval?!

I would love to be able to use at least some of all the nice improvements that have been suggested and patches that have been provided in the five months since LeaderKey v1.17.3 was released. What are your plans, @mikker, on how to bring LeaderKey forward? When someone else provided a DMG file with a forked version some weeks ago you didn't appear too happy about it, so it might be good if you spoke out.

I was quiet because I was building a new app, Tuna, with Leader Key inside.

I address it in the video: Doesn't make sense for me to work on both apps. So Leader Key will be more or less staying as is. Working, free, Open Source. Anyone is welcome to fork. If you decide to distribute it too, I'd appreciate if it's under a new name.

In the meantime I hope you'll consider migrating to Tuna. It's a better foundation and already has Leader features that Leader Key doesn't.

Thank you so much for the clear answer! Tuna is great, I plan to use it in the future and have even already paid for the "Pro" version to show my appreciation for all your work, but I'm afraid I won't be able to use it on all my Macs as it seems to only be available for macOS ≥15.

So I'm still hoping that someone will fork LeaderKey and continue its development. If such forks do occur, would it be okay to announce them here in the LeaderKey GitHub discussions, or would that be against your wishes @mikker?
