Bug Report: macOS Blocks Markdown Reader.app from Opening

When attempting to open Markdown Reader.app on macOS, the operating system blocks the application and shows a security popup:

“Apple could not verify ‘Markdown Reader.app’ is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.”

Steps to Reproduce

• Download Markdown Reader.app

• Open the .app file on macOS

• Observe the macOS security popup

• App launch is blocked

• OS: mac

The error is occuring because the application is not signed and notarized with a valid Apple Developer certificate.

It will be done in the upcoming version.

steps to bypass:-

• Click the Apple Menu icon.
• Open System Settings.
• Select Privacy & Security.
• Scroll to the Security section.
• Click Open Anyway.
• Enter your Mac password to confirm.
