Doesn't redirect to catan when connecting on Android devices

When connecting with an iphone, the catan homepage comes up after connecting to CATAN-AP, but this doesn't happen on Android devices. I have to manually type in catan/ to be able to see the catan homepage in my Android. Typing in another web address also doesn't try to redirect the device. What is the expected behavior here?

To make sure I understand, if you try to access a website other than catan/
on Android, you can and won't be DNS redirected but if you try this on iOS,
you will always be redirected to catan/

Nope, sorry maybe I should have opened two issues: DNS redirection doesn't work well on either type of device- going to any page other than catan/ just causes a really long delay in loading the page.

When I filled out this issue an hour ago, I was getting some kind of DNS failed message, but now there is an actual redirect after about a minute or two of loading.

So is this issue then that when the Android web browser first loads, it
does not automatically redirect to catan/ but iOS does?
