When configs are updated, it's mostly due to breaking changes. All of your configs are backed up when updating in your home directory in a backup folder. There, you get a txt file with each change and generated commands to revert the changes, as well as a full script to automatically revert all the changes and restore the configs. As for matugen theme - it has been moved to a GUI app called Tinte which I made, there you can pick matugen or imagemagick color extraction, browse wallpapers etc. If you want to completely disable such updates - best to install the dots manually, as you will need to tweak some scripts. If you want to revert - you would need to clone a specific tag, but then again - you'd need to tweak a bit because it would just update to the latest tag later on. |

I was wondering if there is any way to disable updates from fetching and updating config files based on github configurations. I had done a lot of tweaking to my configs before the last update and now a lot of those changes has been reverted and I'm also having issues with the waybar not loading and the matugen theme not being available.
Also is there any way to revert to a previous update? Thank you
