Description

Hi MoonBit Team! 👋

I am a system programmer and a huge fan of MoonBit.

Inspired by the upcoming 1.0 release and the potential of AI-native systems, I have decided to start a new open-source project: MoonBit OS.

🎯 Goal

To build a lightweight, secure, and AI-friendly OS kernel using MoonBit, specifically targeting RISC-V and Wasm architectures.

🚀 Current Status

  • Repository Created: https://github.com/liaoran123/yiduo
  • Milestone: Successfully built the basic build system and "Hello World" bootloader.
  • Roadmap: Detailed in the repo's README.

🤝 Why am I posting this?

I believe this project could be a significant addition to the MoonBit ecosystem, demonstrating the language's capability in system programming.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the architecture or any advice for a beginner in MoonBit system development. Also, if there is an "Official Ecosystem" page, I'd be honored to be listed there.

Let's build the future together! 🌕
