MOSIP-44045: Admin – On the bulk upload page, the buttons are highlighted even without entering any data, and clicking ‘Submit’ does not display any error message.

Steps

1. Open the admin

2. Select the master data

3. Choose bulk upload and insert, update, and delete without entering anything

4. Click on the submit button

Observed: On the bulk upload page, the buttons are highlighted even without entering any data, and clicking ‘Submit’ does not display any error message.

Expected: The buttons should remain inactive until all required data is entered, and clicking ‘Submit’ without input should display an appropriate error message.

Gokulraj C commented: Tested the same in the collab environment (Admin-UI version 1201). There as well, no errors indicated during upload without data. This confirms that this behavior is not part of the initial design of this page, and hence it is not a bug.

varaniya commented: Upload your file text also needed to be highlighted as red in colour.

Same error message is displayed for all fields which should not be the case. please use below error message for each to maintain the uniformity across all pages in the admin:

• Operation: Operation is required
• Table Name: Table Name is required
• Upload Your Field: File is required

Gokulraj C commented: Corrected the “Upload your file” label, which was not turning red when the error message appeared. The label now correctly changes to red when a validation error occurs [~accountid:557058:c955df2b-1615-45f5-8565-cbf63d54c49e]
