Be cool if could work with more than one feeder the felaqua and the flaps as surepet cares hub and servers are trash.

The cat died last year, so I no longer use the feeder. Hopefully this repo will provide information for someone else to continue the work

I just wanted to reply that I'm keen to pick this up and continue some of the work started here, as well as by Peter L in his SurePetLocal integration, and other members of the community who seem to have made progress.

I have some software skills, but looking at some of the work others have done, I admit I'm still a bit daunted. I'm also only able to go so far as money is a little tight and I'll have a hard time explaining to my wife if I brick our cat-flap or hub while trying to perform some kinda firmware extraction...

I really do think that with enough of the right people we can get a local hub replacement over the line. ❤️

I'm waiting on some test hardware to arrive before I can start playing around with it. Maybe using this code and some of Peters as a starting point.

Interested in collaborating if anyone out there feels up to it. Wanting to give something back to a community that's given so much to me.

The behavior by SurePet to members of its customer base who just want private, reliable control of the devices they own is pretty awful. Especially to customers like Peter who spent months building a solution himself when the company refused to provide one, only to have them spit in his face and shut him out.
