MuseScore 4.7.4 – Score is no longer aligned to the top-left when switching to "Publish" mode #34188

Description

@csbubbles

Issue type

UI bug (incorrect info or interface appearance)

Description with steps to reproduce

How to reproduce:

  • Create a new score or open an existing one
  • Zoom and/or move it across the screen
  • Switch to "Publish" view

Expected:

  • While the zoom level is preserved, the score itself is positioned in the top-left corner. Every time you switch to "Publish" view, that's how it had always worked in MuseScore 4 up to 4.7.3. It has been really convenient to have this behavior if you need to take screenshots or screen-record part of the playback.

Actual:

  • In 4.7.4, the score is no longer positioned/aligned in the top-left corner. Instead, it keeps the same position it had in "Score" view.
