Tailwind Font Comic Relief Does Not Appear

tailwind.config.js works in the project and custom padding extensions (e.g. p-13) work but font-comic-relief fails to do so. I am importing Comic Relief from Google Fonts. Although tailwind is not registering the font, manually creating a comic relief class in globals.css will allow me to use the font.
