Update since ROKU has replaced "private" channels with "beta" channels?

Since the last update to this repo, it seems that ROKU has got rid of private channels: https://www.rokuguide.com/articles/roku-has-removed-all-private-channels-from-roku-devices

However, they still have something called "beta channels" which can be added via https://my.roku.com/account/add . Does Peervue still work through this mechanism? The code PEERVUE does not seem to be recognized when I enter it on the page above. (I'm in the US.)

I have not tried using a "beta channel" so I don't know what it takes to make that work.

I have pretty much stopped working on this project because most instances on PeerTube are now using HLS and there is a compatibility issue between how PeerTube creates HLS streams and what Roku can use. The result is there is no sound for nearly all videos. See: #1

I do not know of a work around I can implement for that issue and neither the PeerTube project nor Roku seem interested in fixing it.

So this project is likely to languish unless or until something happens that allows HLS to work properly.
