Allow custom Upwork search URL or saved search ID in settings

Problem

I'm using the extension settings page: /settings

I select Feed source => My Feed / Saved Searches => Configure

After clicking Configure, I get the default Upwork path:

https://www.upwork.com/nx/search/jobs/

The problem is that I cannot properly customize this URL, save my own search URL with the filters I need, or select one of the saved searches already configured in my Upwork account.

Because of this, I currently have to use:

https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/most-recent

As a result, I need to manually review every job posting. Around 60-70% of the shown jobs are irrelevant because my filters are not applied.

Expected behavior

1. Allow users to manually enter a custom Upwork search URL in an input field.
2. Allow the extension to detect and use saved Upwork searches from the user's account.
3. Allow selecting a saved search/filter by ID.

Example format:

https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/7609228

The ID at the end of the URL points to a specific saved Upwork filter/search.

Hey @OvchariK3208, thanks for raising this issue and I seem to understand why you're facing it.

Upwork has changed the structure of jobs feed pages and now the extension's FAQ page references the wrong URL for "My feed" page which is now called "Saved searches". New URL, however, is https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/my-feed 😄

If you open this URL, you'll find your jobs feed where your searches are applied. This is the feed the extension is showing as "My feed".

Sorry for the confusion. I'll update the FAQ page and references/images to prevent it for others.

Could the extension also support a custom feed URL? Alongside the predefined options:

• https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/best-matches
• https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/most-recent
• https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/my-feed

it'd be useful to add a "Custom URL" choice with an input field, so a feed like https://www.upwork.com/nx/find-work/7772580 could be tracked too.

One open question: can the extension, and Upwork itself, monitor that kind of feed in the background? Any details on whether that's feasible would help. Happy to test a setup on my end if that's useful.
