Is there an existing issue for this?

• I searched the existing issues and did not find anything similar.

Current Behavior

The Intel Core i3-12100 has a base frequency of 3.3 GHz and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.30 GHz. But Ubuntu 26.4 Beta is showing 5.50 GHz, The i3-12100 is a locked processor (not overclockable) and cannot achieve 5.50 GHz. It is a false reading from the system.

i get in dmidecode, exactly CPU hardware specs.

That's good to know. It says something else for me too, but dmidecode does not seem to take overclocking/undervolting into account.

It says 4.65 GHz, though due to undervolting, my CPU actually boosts up to ~4.8 GHz, which is accurately reflected in lscpu and thus in Resources too.
