🎨 How to Get the iOS-Style Depth Effect Lock Screen on Nothing OS (Using KLWP)

Nothing OS is famous for its clean, dot-matrix aesthetic, but what if you want to add that premium, iOS-style "Depth Effect" where your wallpaper's subject overlaps the digital clock?

🌟 What is the Depth Effect?

The Depth Effect creates a 3D illusion on your lock screen and home screen. If you have a wallpaper of a mountain or a car, the top of the mountain will slightly cover the bottom half of the clock. It makes your Nothing Phone (1), (2), or (2a) look incredibly futuristic and customized.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Get the Prerequisites

  1. Open the Google Play Store and install KLWP Live Wallpaper Maker. (Note: To import custom themes, KLWP Pro key is highly recommended).
  2. Head over to Nothing Space and navigate to the Setups, Layouts & KLWP section.
  3. Browse the community gallery and download your favorite .klwp Depth Effect file.

Step 2: Configure KLWP

  1. Open the KLWP app and grant it the necessary storage and location permissions.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three lines on the top left) and select Load Preset.
  3. Tap the small folder icon at the top of the screen to browse your device's internal storage.
  4. Locate and select the .klwp file you downloaded from Nothing Space.
  5. The theme will load into the editor. You can tap on different elements (like the clock or date) to change their fonts to match the Nothing dot-matrix style!

Step 3: Apply to Lock Screen

  1. Once you are happy with the look, tap the Save icon (floppy disk) at the top right corner.
  2. The app will prompt you to set it as your wallpaper. Choose Home screen and lock screen.
  3. Lock your device and wake it up to see your new 3D Depth Effect lock screen!
