Messages sidebar immediately collapses and is unretrievable

as you can see in the screenshot, I am in the messages tab, I have 5 different channels that agents can interact with, but as soon as I click on the messages icon to bring up this view, I see the sidebar for a fraction of a second and then it collapses to the left and cannot be reopened.

I can still see the logs, an stuff is still working , but this UI element is very nice to visually debug, or just demonstrate and show what the system is doing to other people.

From your description, it sounds like the sidebar briefly renders and then immediately collapses, which points to a frontend state or layout issue rather than anything agent-related.

I’m currently unable to reproduce this on my side, so could you help provide a bit more context:

• OS and browser (e.g. Chrome version)
• Screen resolution / window size
• Whether you're using any extensions (especially UI-related)
• Does it still happen in incognito mode?

If possible, a short screen recording would also help a lot.

In the meantime, a few quick things to try:

• Resize the window after opening Messages
• Hard refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R)
• Try a different browser

We agree this panel is important for debugging and demos, so we’ll take a closer look once we can reproduce it 👍
