Proposal: Integrate Hermes Agent into OpenAgents

I propose evaluating the integration of Hermes Agent into OpenAgents to enhance agent orchestration, tool usage, and multi-step reasoning capabilities:

Hermes looks promising, especially in terms of orchestration and tool usage.

We’ll evaluate its design and see how it aligns with OpenAgents' current architecture and extensibility model. Integration would likely depend on factors like compatibility, complexity, and actual use cases.

+1 on this Hermes is gaining a lot of traction - check X - I've been struggling with OpenClaw for quite a while and Hermes seems to just work better out of the box - hoping to connect the two.. Hermes Agent is catching fire on X. I was trying to connect it to OpenAgents via yaml with no luck.

Put together a working first-pass Hermes adapter and opened a PR here: #338. It uses Hermes CLI subprocesses with per-channel session persistence so Hermes profiles can participate in OpenAgents workspaces without losing profile isolation.

I’d really like to see native Hermes support in OpenAgents.

Hermes is already a solid agent runtime on its own, and having direct support in OpenAgents would make it much easier to use in the same environment as other agents without extra setup or workaround layers.
