Summary
When returning to the Cross Section panel after navigating back to change the time interval or processing step, the message “Please wait, we are extracting images” is shown even though the frames are already loaded.

The behavior differs by platform:
- macOS: The Cross Section panel freezes completely. The only workaround is to close RIVeR and reopen the project.
- Windows: The same message appears, but you can recover by going back again and reopening the Cross Section step.
Steps to Reproduce
- Run the workflow until reaching the Cross Section step.
- Click Back to return to a previous step (for example, to change the time interval or step size).
- Click Next again to go back to the Cross Section panel.
- Observe the message “Please wait, we are extracting images” and note that the panel does not refresh.
Expected Behavior
When returning to the Cross Section step, RIVeR should detect that the frames are already loaded and display them immediately, without showing the loading message or freezing.
Actual Behavior
- On macOS: The Cross Section panel freezes and cannot be recovered without restarting RIVeR.
- On Windows: The same message appears, but returning back once more temporarily resolves the issue.
