Update: Discussions from the past week have led to the addition of time expiration of IOUs in the specifications, so that the protocol allows time gated NFT standards like ERC-809 and ERC-1204. We are also discussing the inclusion/compatibility with ERC-1633, ERC-994 and ERC-998. So far our approach towards how relays are to be trusted and managed on a bridge remains unchallenged. Also some great discussion on which entity should decide what code to run when an NFT is migrated. |

Hello everyone!
We are currently working on a protocol for NFT migration and data exchange. This protocol is at the first draft stage and we are asking for feedback from the community to make the standard as generic and inclusive as possible. This project is supported by the Web3 Foundation.
I have opened an OSWG with the first draft of the protocol: https://github.com/paritytech/substrate-open-working-groups/blob/main/SOWG/NFT-Migration-Protocol.md
The protocol is also being shared on other channels (Polkassembly, Discord...) and being drafted on a Google Document that we invite the community to read and add their comments to directly: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c5Uor2By5igFWXimipcKhsWjTAG8OWrl9bSVWTPsi6U/edit?usp=sharing
We have also our NFT Migration Protocol Telegram channel where some discussions are happening: https://t.me/joinchat/HvUvEybnAaWAuLfK
If you are interested in or working on NFTs projects please get in touch we would love to hear your thoughts on the standard.
Edouard & Guillaume
