Dark mode is definitely planned and will be added in a future release.

Regarding audio codecs: PLP uses QtMultimedia with the FFmpeg backend, which already provides very broad and consistent codec support across systems.

Relying on system codecs on Windows (Media Foundation / DirectShow) often causes instability and inconsistent behavior depending on the OS version and installed components.

Using FFmpeg ensures reliable playback for all users without requiring additional system configuration.
