Area

Steps to reproduce

I am using Claude Opus 4.7 with T3 Code 0.0.23

  1. Create a new thread on any project
  2. Ask the AI to ask a question using their tool call Question asking.
  3. Start typing a custom answer in the text box, try and reference a file using the @ syntax
  4. Try and delete referencing a file.

Expected behavior

The file should get added to the text window, instead it get stuck and does not select

When pressing back space rather than properly deleting text it gets stuck in a situtation where it appears to be in something like overtype mode but rather than deleting characters it just moves the characters back to a previous character

This image is after selecting failing and then pressing backspace a couple of times

Actual behavior

It should allow files to be referenced and selected.

Backspace should not get stuck to the point that to fix the thread I would need to restart the
