The problem
Right-clicking anywhere on the native window title bar - the empty draggable strip at the very top of the window, next to the red/yellow/green traffic-light buttons (above the "Current Repository" / "Current Branch" / "Fetch origin" toolbar) - causes GitHub Desktop Plus to crash immediately. A macOS dialog appears stating "GitHub Desktop Plus quit unexpectedly."
Release version
3.5.12-beta2
Operating system and distro
macOS 26.5 (build 25F71)
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Open GitHub Desktop Plus with any repository.
- Right-click on the native window title bar (the empty area at the very top of the window, beside the traffic-light buttons).
- The application crashes immediately and shows a "quit unexpectedly" dialog.
Specific to GitHub Desktop Plus?
Yes. I tested the same action in the official GitHub Desktop app and the crash does not occur there, so it appears specific to GitHub Desktop Plus.
