It would be nice if you could right-click worktrees here to open them in a new window.

Proposed solution

(I can implement but wanted your LGTM first. I think I've read upstream is working on a WT implementation, so maybe rather not implement that now?)

Yes, let's wait until the upstream worktrees implementation is ready and then implement this feature on top of that
